WHAT KIND OF TREATMENT MODALITIES ARE USED?
This will be based on individual needs. However, common modalities include Eye-Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method, Play Therapy, and Existential Therapy.
DO YOU OFFER VIDEO SESSIONS?
Yes. To maintain everyone's safety during COVID-19, we are only offering telehealth sessions at this time.
DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE RATES?
Yes. We offer a sliding scale from $120-$160 for our Licensed therapists and $100-$145 for our Associate therapists.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Yes. Currently, we accept Aetna, Cigna, and an insurance we cannot name but starts with a "K". We also offer Superbills for folx who want to use their out of network benefits. Call the phone number on your insurance card to confirm eligibility.
WHAT AGES/POPULATIONS DO YOU SERVE?
Each therapist has different training and specialties impacting who they are able to serve. Currently, we provide services to tween/teens, adults, individuals, couples, and families.
HOW LONG DOES THERAPY LAST?
Each individual and their needs are different. Some individuals use their EAP benefits and find that is sufficient, while others spend several months on their healing journey. Your therapist will continuously discuss treatment goals and timelines with you.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST SESSION?
Your therapist will review important documentation with you at the start of session. Most of your session will be spent in getting to know you, learning about your goals, and developing a plan to obtain them. Your session will last about 50 minutes and you will be able to know if you were a good match with your therapist.
WHAT IF I DON'T IDENTIFY AS BIPOC?
You are still welcome! We know race plays a crucial role in our existence in this nation. This is why we are so mindful of it. We also recognize that there is more to an individual than their race and work alongside you to problem solve your struggles.
